Scent Families & Colors

What My Tumbler Colors Mean

When you shop Soul of a Home, you'll notice a system to my colors. My 7 oz artisan jars are always amber glass, but my 11 oz luxury tumblers come in colors tied to scent family - and the labels on all products carry the same family color throughout. So once you find a family you love, you can spot it by color before you even read the name.

Linen - Warm + Settled

Linen tumblers hold the scents that feel like a slow exhale. Think Evening Chai with its black cardamom and warm cinnamon, or Saturday Morning with coconut cream and sandalwood. These are the scents for quiet mornings and staying in. Cozy, classic, like a warm blanket.

Sky - Radiant + Refreshed

Sky tumblers carry my brighter, more energizing scents. Grove leans into juicy citrus and fresh basil for that radiant feeling, while Private Island brings sun-warmed mango and coconut milk for an easy, tropical escape. If you want a scent that wakes a room up instead of settling it down, start here.

Juniper - Quiet + Grounded
Juniper tumblers are for the moments you need to reset. Oasis blends eucalyptus mist and wild lavender for a deep-calm, quiet-retreat feeling, while Moonlight uses chamomile tea and soft tonka for that soft-hush, settling-in mood right before bed.

Petal - Floral + Lush
Petal tumblers hold my floral family, more layered than a single note. Sunday Roses combines damask rose with fresh petals and soft musk for something romantic but not heavy, and Garden Terrace mixes wild aloe with earthy patchouli for a green, garden-fresh feel with some depth underneath.

Onyx - Deep + Layered
Onyx tumblers are filled with rich and layered scents. The Study pairs tonka bean with aged tobacco and golden honey, while Cairo brings Egyptian lavender and black amber for something more exotic and far-off.

Why I Built It This Way
I designed the color system so you can shop by mood, not just by scent name. Once you know Sky scents energize or Onyx scents settle, you can explore new scents in that family with confidence - even before reading a single name. Every scent I make comes in more than one format too, so once you find your family, you can decide whether you want it as a jar, a tumbler, a wax melt, or a room mist depending on how you want to bring it into your space.
