What It Means: Woman Owned, Texas Made, Small Batch, Hand Poured

You will see four phrases on my diteband social media: Woman Owned, Texas Made, Small Batch, Hand Poured. They show up so often they can start to feel like decoration. So I want to actually explain what each one means in practice.

Woman Owned means exactly that. I am the sole owner of Soul of a Home, from sourcing to formulation to the label on every jar.

Texas Made means every candle, melt, and mist is produced right here in Texas, not outsourced to a fulfillment warehouse somewhere I have never set foot in.

Small Batch is the one people misunderstand most. It does not just mean I make small quantities, it means I have a real weekly production rhythm. Wax melts and room mist get their own dedicated days, jars and tumblers get theirs, and I test every new formula with actual burn testing before it ever reaches a customer.

Hand Poured means every single vessel is filled by me, not a machine on an assembly line. That is part of why batch sizes are limited. It is also why quality control is not a separate department, it is just how the work gets done.

None of these four words are throwaway marketing lines for me. They describe an actual process, one vessel at a time. 🕯
